Refund Policy

All transactions are final. Transactions made online, over the phone, or in person at any of our boutiques, using any form of payment, are final. Any refunds will be provided as a Dry Cleaning or “In-store” Credit to the client’s Dry Cleaning Account. Any claim should be made to Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers’ Management via email at info@spinningtoplaundry within five (5) business days of receipt of services.

1. OUR SERVICES

Please see ‘Our Services’ and/or ‘Services’ page, in which you may also request a base price list on each and all of our services. This can be done bby entering your email address, name, and phone number in the white box provided after clicking the link on the desired service. All of our price lists are basic prices, and up charges may apply. Prices are based on the material, material type, construction of the garment or item, including trim and/or decoration, and the time required for us to process the item.

All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

a. Payment for Services Stain removal is not guaranteed, as some stains in combination with some fabrics may be unserviceable and unable to be removed without possible damage to the color, texture, or fabric. You are responsible for the payment to process the garment. Stain removal, whether the stain(s) are removed or not, does not constitute a reason for nonpayment. Payment must be made in full for the garment to be processed, regardless of the outcome of the stain removal.

b. Service Disclaimer. We exercise the utmost care in processing articles entrusted to us and employ processes that are best suited to the nature and condition of each individual article. Nevertheless, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses of, or defects in, materials that are not readily apparent before processing. This applies particularly, but not exclusively,
to suedes, leathers, silks, satins, double-faced fabrics, vinyls, polyurethanes, and other similar materials. Responsibility is also disclaimed for trimmings, buckles, beads, buttons, belts, sequins, and any type of ornamentation.

In Laundering, Wet Cleaning, and Dry Cleaning, we cannot guarantee against color loss, shrinkage, or damage to weak and tender fabrics. Differences in count must be reported within 48 hours. Unless a list accompanied the bundle, our count must be accepted. The company’s liability concerning any lost article shall not exceed 10 times our charge for processing it. Any claim should be made to Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers Management via email at info@spinningtoplaundry within five (5) business days upon receipt of services.

c. Item(s) Processing Consent By sending or presenting your garment(s) or item(s) to Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers, you agree and understand that there is the possibility of unpredictable reactions that may adversely affect the fabric and/or trim and construction of the item(s) presented to Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers. Such unpredictable reactions include, but are not limited to, originating from a manufacturer defect, unserviceability, misleading or incorrect care label instructions, missing care label instructions, normal wear and tear, or any source outside of Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers’ knowledge before processing. By leaving or sending your items to Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers, you give Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers the permission to use whatever it deems necessary to clean your garment and you will not hold Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers responsible should there be any problems or damage that occurs because of processing caused by unpredictable reactions.

You also agree that no verbal statement made by any Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers employee can be construed as a warranty superseding any statement in this agreement.

d. Wash, Dry, and Fold Services By sending in or bringing in articles of clothing to Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers for wash, Dry, and Fold services, also known as laundry by the bulk, you acknowledge that: There is a minimum per bag to process a load, regardless of whether the pieces of your order total thirty or fewer. Orders exceeding thirty pieces per bag are charged at the price per piece listed on our price list. You also acknowledge that you are responsible for the type of articles you send to be processed in our wash, dry, and fold service. These articles are
not cataloged in our computer system by the piece and are processed in bulk. We cannot be held responsible for any item damaged in any way as a result of laundering. Items sent to Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers for processing as ‘wash, dry, and fold’ should only include items that you would typically wash, dry, and fold at home or in a coin laundry, such as t-shirts, undergarments, socks, and towels. Spinning Top Dry Cleaners and Launderers does not provide finishing (ironing) or stain removal as part of the Wash, Dry, and Fold service.

e. Leather Item(s) Processing Consent Suede and leather garments, made from animal skins, sometimes have inherent defects that may not be apparent until after they have been cleaned. In addition to the effects of normal wear, there are other conditions you should be aware of. Some skins may have weak or thin areas that can chafe during processing. Prior exposure to heat and
moisture can cause the skin to become tender, stiff, or brittle. Fading may not be corrected by dyeing. Some stains may not be removable. Color uniformity cannot be assured if the skins were not matched initially evenly.
You also agree that you have read the foregoing and you release Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers and its affiliates from responsibility for any of the above conditions.

f. Alteration(s) and or Tailoring Processing Consent When sending or presenting to Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers items for alterations or tailoring, already marked by you: You are well aware that you presented or sent your special garment(s) to be altered or tailored. Still, instead of being professionally fitted by one of our amazingly skilled tailors or seamstresses, you hand your garment(s) to Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers already pinned, cuffed, or marked exactly as you would like them altered. Therefore, you hereby give Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers your permission to alter your garment(s) as you’ve indicated. Therefore, you will not hold Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers and its affiliates responsible for any problems that may occur as a result of these alterations and promise to take full responsibility for any additional costs that may be necessary should your garment(s) need to be re-altered. You also understand that no verbal statement made by any Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers employee can be construed as a warranty superseding any statement in this agreement.

g. Cobbler Services Processing Consent When submitting footwear or leather goods to Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers for cobbler or shoe repair services: You acknowledge that your shoes or leather items were presented for service without a professional fitting or evaluation by our in-house cobbler. Instead, you have provided specific repair instructions, markings, or requests (e.g., “replace sole,” “tighten strap,” “shine only,” etc.).
Therefore, by submitting your items, you authorize Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers to carry out the requested repair or restoration services exactly as specified by you, without alteration or professional re-assessment.

Please note:

You accept full responsibility for the outcome of the work as requested.

● You agree not to hold Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers or its affiliates liable for any issues or dissatisfaction resulting from your original instructions.

● Additional costs for any rework or corrective adjustments resulting from self-directed instructions will be your responsibility.

● No verbal representations by any employee or agent will override this agreement.

I. House & Office Cleaning Services Processing Consent By scheduling residential or commercial cleaning services with Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this service consent. Scope of Work: You understand that the cleaning services requested—whether routine, deep cleaning, or post-construction—are based on your communicated instructions and/or selected cleaning package. If you have provided a customized service list or area-specific instructions, Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers will follow those directives to the best of our ability.

Client Responsibility:

● You affirm that access will be provided to the property on the agreed-upon date and time.

● You agree to secure any valuables, sensitive documents, and personal items before our arrival.

● You are responsible for notifying Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers in advance of any areas requiring special care (e.g., delicate materials, antique furniture, restricted zones, or hazardous environments).

Service Limitations:

● Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers is not responsible for pre-existing damage, structural defects, or breakage resulting from weakened materials or surfaces.

● You understand that some stains, discolorations, or odors may be permanent or unremovable, despite professional efforts.

● If additional time or materials are required due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., pest infestations, biohazards, or deep-seated grime), extra charges may apply. You will be notified in advance if this occurs.

Liability Waiver:

By signing up for or requesting services, you agree to release Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers, its team, and affiliates from any liability arising from:

● Client-directed work not assessed by our professionals

● Items left unattended or unsecured during service

● Damage to surfaces or objects caused by inherent fragility or prior wear

No verbal commitment or representation made by any employee will supersede this agreement.

J. Fumigation & Pest Control Services Processing Consent By engaging Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers to perform fumigation and pest control services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding the scope, safety, and limitations of our services:

Scope of Work:

Spinning Top will perform fumigation or pest control services as requested, based on a pre-agreed assessment of the affected property or area. This may include treatment for:

● Insects (e.g., cockroaches, ants, bed bugs, termites)

● Rodents

● General pest infestations

You understand that results may vary depending on infestation level, property conditions, and environmental factors.

Client Preparation Responsibilities:

You agree to:

● Vacate the premises (residential or commercial) during and after treatment as recommended by our team.

● Protect or remove food items, utensils, plants, pets, fish tanks, and other sensitive belongings before the fumigation process begins.

● Disclose any medical sensitivities or respiratory issues that fumigation chemicals may trigger for occupants.

Failure to comply with these preparation guidelines may result in rescheduling, incomplete treatment, or health risks, for which Spinning Top assumes no liability.

🧪 Chemical Usage and Safety:

● Spinning Top uses government-approved and industry-standard fumigants and chemicals.

● You acknowledge that while safe when used correctly, these substances may still carry potential side effects if exposure protocols are not followed.

● A Safety Sheet (MSDS) will be provided upon request for all products used.

🧾 Results & Follow-up:

● Complete pest eradication may require multiple treatments, depending on the severity of the infestation.

● No pest control service can guarantee permanent eradication if underlying causes (e.g., poor hygiene, structural issues, surrounding infestations) are not addressed.

● You agree to allow access for follow-up inspections or treatments if required.

Liability Disclaimer:

Spinning Top is not liable for:

● Damage or contamination of uncovered personal belongings left in the treatment area

● Health reactions caused by failure to follow the post-fumigation guidelines

. Re-infestation due to non-compliance with maintenance recommendations

You also acknowledge that no verbal promises made by staff supersede this written consent.

h. Lost Items

We request that customers empty their pockets before placing laundry out for pickup, as Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers does not accept responsibility, as bailee or under any other statutory or common law property principle, for any items left in pockets or within bundles of garments (i.e., jewelry, watches, cash etc).

2. Items Left Unclaimed: disposition of unclaimed articles

If any person shall fail to claim any garment, clothing, household article, or other articles delivered for laundering, cleaning, or pressing to any laundry or dry-cleaning establishment for a period of 6 months after the delivery of such article for laundering, cleaning, or processing, the laundry or dry- cleaning establishment to whom the garment, clothing, or household article is delivered shall have the right to dispose of such garment, clothing, or household article by whatsoever means it may choose without incurring liability or responsibility to the owner provided,
however, that before such laundry or dry-cleaning establishment may claim the benefits of this section it shall at the time of the receiving of such garment, clothing, or household articles, give to the individual delivering such article notice in writing that the articles so delivered may be disposed of by such laundry or dry-cleaning establishment unless such articles are reclaimed within 6 months from date of delivery to such laundry or dry-cleaning establishments. Provided, further, that if any garment, clothing, household article, or other articles referred to above is left at a laundry or dry-cleaning establishment for storage, and insurance is charged for thereon, then, in that event, the said 6 months as set forth above in this section shall not start to run until the period for which the article so insured has expired and when the time for which the insurance on said garment, clothing, or household article shall have expired then the laundry or dry-cleaning establishment may dispose of the property as though no insurance had been placed on said property in the same way as is provided hereinabove in this section.

 

3. Technical Requirements for Electronic Communications

a. To make credit card payments online or receive Electronic Communications, you must have access to a personal computer with a 128-bit JavaScript-enabled browser, internet access, and a valid email account supported by software that enables you to receive Electronic Communications. To store Electronic Communications on paper, you will need a printer connected to your computer. You may also store them in your offline files or in an electronic storage device. Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers is not required to provide paper copies of any Electronic Communication you have previously authorized.

b. You agree to provide us, and keep current, a valid email address.

c. By authorizing a credit card payment online, or by requesting an Electronic Communications, you confirm that your system meets these requirements, that you can access, download, and print electronic disclosures, and that your email address is current and valid.

4. “Electronic Only” Communications

If you have authorized “Electronic Only” communications, then the following additional terms apply:

a. You understand and agree that Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers may provide you with all Electronic Communications exclusively online.

b. At your request, we will provide you with copies of statements and account information electronically via email or in printed form as requested.

c. You may elect to withdraw your consent to receive Electronic Communications (other than confirmation of online credit card payments) at any time by communicating with Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers via email at info@spinningtoplaundry that you wish to be removed from our email communications.

d. If you give or withdraw consent by writing to us or calling us, there may be a delay in implementing your request.

e. You may also contact us if you need to update any information relating to a change in your email address.

5. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to any principles of conflict of laws. In the event of any dispute, claim, or disagreement arising out of or in connection with the services provided by Spinning Top Drycleaners and Launderers, such matters shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of
the competent courts of Oyo State, Nigeria, unless otherwise resolved through mediation or arbitration as mutually agreed upon by both parties.
